Qualifications We’re looking for individuals who possess the following: A high school diploma or equivalent (a caring heart is a major plus!). Prior caregiving experience is a benefit, but we’re happy to train the right candidate with a willingness to learn and grow! CPR and First Aid certification (we can help you get certified if needed). A compassionate and patient spirit with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs). A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (requirements may vary). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Responsibilities Responsibilities As a Live-In Caregiver at New Century Home Care, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our clients feel safe, comfortable, and empowered in their own homes. Your day-to-day tasks will encompass: Providing hands-on support with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Fostering companionship by engaging clients in conversation, sharing activities that bring joy, and creating cherished memories. Whipping up delicious meals that cater to individual preferences and ensure proper dietary needs are met. Maintaining a clean and inviting environment through light housekeeping tasks. Offering emotional support and fostering a sense of well-being in a positive and secure environment. Observing and reporting any changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or environment to the care team. Upholding the highest standards of care by adhering to all New Century Home Care policies and state regulations.
