ROLE PURPOSE : The Social Media Intern supports the Manager, Marketing Communications to achieve superior customer engagement by optimizing content to be engaging in social media and other channels.
MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Social media community management, responding to queries and customer reviews in a timely manner
- Create, edit, and share engaging content (e.g. original text, photos, REELS, videos, and news)
- Help write copy for social posts and blogs that communicate our brand to followers
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Measure the success of organic social media content & accounts
- Ad Hoc marketing projects as assigned by Manager, Marketing Communications
KEY COMPETENCIES :
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS :
Recent graduate or college student with Marketing, Business, Journalism or Communications major with a focus and / or strong aptitude for social media
JOB LOCATION : Within travel distance to Brattleboro, Vermont, in a hybrid work environment with at least 2 days per week in office (preferred). Remote applicants may be considered.
