Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient service skills, a solid work ethic, and strong attention to detail.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for patients.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and assist in managing stock levels
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with all other non-pharmacy tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Newcomers welcome!
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pharmacy operations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable but not mandatory.
