Assist faculty with primary research, including literature review, experimental design, data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and presenting scientific findings at conferences.
Engage in networking/outreach/collaboration management on funded and unfunded research projects with PI.
Learn, use, and teach advanced acoustics and/or brain connectivity software programs.
Document and organize for ready use all sessions, data, methods, and other research materials on a daily and weekly basis.

Currently admitted to a graduate degree program in Marine Mammal Program at NCF.
Be in good standing in all classes.
Have experience or training in a similar assignment.
Have experience performing general laboratory techniques.
Be reliable.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

At least 1 year of prior research experience.
Evidence of prior scientific productivity, including but not limited to co-authorship on manuscripts, attendance of scientific conferences, contribution to laboratory work.
Marine mammal experience.
