The Role: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our award-winning Ventures Community Support Services Program. As a DSP, you will actively engage with and support adults with intellectual disabilities as they connect with their community and participate in educational, recreational, artistic, and social events and activities.
Focusing on Three Key Areas:
- Farm-to-Table: Participants develop relationships and skills that support health and well-being through engaging farm-related activities.
- Community Connections: Individuals build connections and skills through various community-based activities, promoting social interaction and personal growth.
- Art Connections: Participants express themselves creatively through art, music, and other forms of self-expression, fostering confidence and self-esteem.

Schedule and Requirements:
This part-time day position comes with a guaranteed 16.5 hours/week schedule, working Tuesday 8am-12pm, Wednesday 8am-4:30pm, and Friday 8am-12pm. Hourly pay ranges between $14.75-$15.50/hour, depending on certifications.
- A high school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or over
- Active driver's license
- Experience in direct care, preferred, but not required. Willing to train
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English
