New Communities, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RN Training & Oversight Specialist to support our mission of delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. This flexible, independent role allows you to train direct caregivers and provide RN oversight at our residential programs—without overnight shifts, on-call duties, or direct staff management.
This position is based in the Gardiner area and requires travel to Boothbay Harbor, Farmington, Skowhegan area, and Bangor to various programs and training centers.
Key responsibilities will include:
Training Responsibilities
- Teach essential courses, including:
- Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)
- Certified Residential Medication Recertification
- Diabetes management
- Medication Administration Policies & Procedures
RN Oversight Responsibilities
- Conduct resident health assessments
- Review medication administration practices and resident records for accuracy
- Recommend employee training and supervise medication passes as needed

Requirements
RN Training & Oversight Specialist Requirements
• An active RN license is required for this position
• Minimum of three years of experience, preferably in long-term care settings
• Experience teaching or a CRMA trainer certification is preferred, but not required
• Experience in Microsoft Office, Virtual Meeting Clients, and Electronic Health Records systems
