Hours: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-5:30 pm)
Purpose & Objective
The Parts Manager / Front Counter Assistant is a key player in our team's success. This dual-role position combines expertise in parts sourcing with outstanding office support and customer service. You'll help drive profitability by securing the best prices for repair parts while ensuring the smooth operation of our repair shop office.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Parts Procurement
- Source high-quality parts at competitive prices by negotiating with vendors and conducting thorough price comparisons.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor representatives to ensure long-term success.
Office Support
- Deliver exceptional customer service and administrative support for daily shop operations.
- Responsibilities include:
- Answering phones and assisting customers at the front counter.
- Managing customer check-ins and check-outs.
- Updating the workflow board and maintaining office cleanliness.
- Running errands, conducting follow-up calls, and coordinating customer loaner cars.
Secondary Responsibilities
Documentation & Sales Support
- Prepare customer and vendor paperwork, such as quotes and invoices, using Shop Management Software.
- Support repair and service sales as needed, under the guidance of the Service Adviser or General Manager.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $40,000 annually.
- Bonuses: Opportunity to earn additional bonuses based on performance and shop goals.

Experience & Skills
- Customer Service/Administrative Experience: At least 1 year in a relevant role.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Windows, email, and office software like Word and Excel.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Math Skills: Solid understanding of basic math and calculator use.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 20 lbs without assistance.
- Enter and exit various vehicles independently.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and safely operate a motor vehicle with passengers.
