As an Agronomy Operations Specialist - Sales and Customer Support, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers.
About the Role
This position requires a strong understanding of agronomy operations and the ability to provide excellent customer service and sales support.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent experience in agronomy and strong negotiation skills.
A certified Crop Advisor certification is preferred, but not required.
Key responsibilities include presenting customers with agronomy services and products that meet their specific needs and providing unmatched customer service before, during, and after the sale.
Main Responsibilities
- Present customers with agronomy services and products that meet their specific needs.
- Provide unmatched customer service before, during, and after the sale.
- Identify potential customers and build relationships with prospects.
- Work to achieve personal, regional, and company-wide sales goals.
You will also be responsible for resolving customer disputes in a timely manner and escalating issues when necessary.
In addition, you will assist in creating SOILMAP recommendations, yield mapping, and NRCS nutrient management plans.
