Overview: We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Floater to join our team. In this role, you will assist teachers across various classrooms, providing extra support as needed. Your adaptability and positive attitude will help ensure that each child receives the attention and care they deserve. Schedules will vary and will be discussed during interview.
Duties Include:
- Float between toddler and preschool classrooms to provide support to teachers and students.
- Assist with classroom management, activities, and supervision of children.
- Help prepare materials and set up for lessons and activities.
- Provide additional care and attention to children as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as needed.
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education is a plus.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
- A passion for nurturing young children in a Christian environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and materials effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a childcare or preschool setting
