We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a strong understanding of various flooring materials and installation techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality installations that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Install a variety of flooring types, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl.
- Read and interpret schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as necessary.
- Perform floor care tasks to maintain the quality and appearance of installed flooring.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Assist in remodeling projects that may involve flooring installation as part of a larger scope of work.
- Utilize maintenance person skills for minor repairs or adjustments during the installation process.
- Address water damage restoration needs related to flooring installations.
- Conduct buffing and finishing tasks to ensure a polished final appearance.
- Participate in construction painting and drywall work as needed during project execution.
Experience
- Proven experience in flooring installation with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with tile laying techniques and best practices.
- Knowledge of floor care products and maintenance procedures.
- Experience in remodeling environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Maintenance Person skills that include basic repairs and maintenance tasks are advantageous.
- Background in water damage restoration will be considered a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality.
