- Ensure breakfast, lunch, an dinner are prepared, cooked, and served following prepared menus daily
- Ensure frozen foods are thawed and prepared for the following day
- Prepare school lunches, transport, and serve at Day Treatment facility
- Ensure menus are posted and a copy submitted to administration
- Complete meal forms required by the state
- Store groceries when delivered by supplier
- Ensure all dishes, etc. are washed and put away after meals
- Ensure dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and storage areas are cleaned, disinfected, and stocked
- All other duties as assigned by New Day, Inc. administration
- Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent with two years experience preparing meals for large groups in clinical setting
- Serve Safe Certification a plus
- Must be able to pass a criminal and child abuse background check
- Must be able to perform basic math and to read, analyze, and interpret documents, as well as communicate effectively in English.
- Must maintain current certifications in Non-violent Crisis Intervention, CPR, and First Aid
- Must have valid Montana driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Must comply with Immigration Control and Reform Act through filling out an I-9 form
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 lbs., climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
- May require the use of safe, non-injurious physical interventions in the scope of non-violent crisis intervention training to maintain safety
