Residential Staff

JOB SUMMARY: Residential Staff would be responsible for supporting individuals with the daily routine of the program and monitoring client safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist clients in overcoming treatment barriers and meeting basic needs.
• Promote self-sufficiency.
• Residential Staff will support, encourage, and serve as role models.
• Provide guidance and support to clients.
• Cooperate with other staff members involved in client recovery plan.
• Monitor safety and participation in program activities.
• Observe clients and assure adherence to program rules
• Offer guidance to support clients facing everyday challenges.
• Conduct new client orientation as needed.
• Monitor client chores and projects
• Provide an attentive, respectful, and encouraging environment for clients.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Complete all assigned training.
• Complete all duties assigned in a timely manner

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with EHR systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate between departments to provide proficient client care.
• Ability to work with a diverse client population.
• Ability to show empathy.
• Build rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Incident response and crisis de-escalation skills.
• Ability to stay calm in crisis situations.

• Remain complaint with all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn proper documentation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• CPR Certified (must be obtained within 3 months of employment)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
