What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics & Shipping Specialist position at New Directions Technologies Inc.?
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED.
The successful candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving and have forklift certification.
This candidate may be required to perform tasks including :
- reviewing inventory lists and noting deficiencies,
- updating records in a computer system (data entry),
- staging and sorting products for loading,
- sorting and placing parts in racks or other designated areas,
- packaging finished products for shipping / storage (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling),
- marking items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment, and
- preparing items for mailing / shipping.
Other duties may include :
The position requires the candidate to occasionally lift / move items up to 50 lbs.
Experience / Education :
Salary : the expected salary for this position is $39,228 to $70,720 but is subjected to change
