New Dream is looking for a loving caregiver to join our Early Childhood Educators team in our Infant/Young Toddler Programs
Do you have a passion for children in an early childhood educational setting and caring for and creating a warm loving environment that facilitates their growth and development?
We are looking for the right person to provide and maintain a loving caregiving environment to our youngest. The children in this class are 6 weeks up to 18 months years of age. You would be teamed up with an experienced co-Teacher.
New Dream Family Center is a bi-cultural Reggio inspired program focused on Latinx culture and language, as well as emphasis in STEM and the natural world!
This position requires the ability to stand and stoop and change positions often with the ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds. This is a fast paced teamwork environment.
Preferably, This is a full time position. The shift is Monday through Friday with shifts ranging between 7:30am-5:30pm.
We will consider two part time positions for applicants that are Teacher qualified based on the requirements of the Oregon Early Learning Division 414-300-0100 Teacher, Table 2 Qualifications for teacher, Options A,B, C or D&E.
This position will collaborate with management and other teaching staff to create warm and stimulating environments filled with different sights, sounds, textures, and sensations while fostering the individual child’s needs in collaboration with the following:
Comfort and support children through one-on-one moments of basic needs, play and communication.
Maintains a safe, clean, care-giving environment, practices good personal hygiene and hand washing, and assures the well-being and safety of all of the children in that environment.
Enjoy collaborating with a talented team of early childhood professionals like yourself.
Partnering with parents to support, guide and share in their child’s growth and development while creating a workforce that promotes diversity and inclusion.

All staff are expected to gain information and guidance from teaching staff and Management. Aides and Volunteer Staff are expected to become knowledgeable in classroom procedures, early childhood development and language acquisition.
Mandatory Requirements and Safety Trainings of the position include:(paid time to obtain these requirements)
Current enrollment in the Oregon Criminal History Registry (prior to start of employment)
Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety online course
Current Oregon Food Handler’s Card
Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification
Oregon’s Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect online course
Oregon’s Safe Sleep online course
Oregon’s Prevention is Better than Treatment online course
Foundations for Learning online course
Maintain and minimum of 18 hours of continuing education per licensing year, and any training course that can support your personal and professional development.
