Enrichment Class Instructor – Early Childhood (Contractor or Employee, TBD)
A new and growing high-quality early childhood enrichment company is seeking passionate and experienced instructors to lead engaging classes for children ages 0-6 in various subject areas such as Music & Movement, Art, STEM, Literacy, Spanish Language, Fitness, Cooking etc. with room for growth and new class offerings based on your expertise and talents! This role is ideal for retired teachers, preschool teachers, SAHMs, or early childhood educators looking for flexible, rewarding, and well-compensated work.
Position Details: Pay: $60 per hour -
$30 per 30-minute class
$45 per 45- minute class
$60 per 60-minute class
(1-2 HOURS PER WEEK) Bonuses based on performance.
Schedule: Flexible; classes will be scheduled based on demand and instructor availability. One to 4 classes a week initially anticipated (30 min - 2 hours weekly to start).
Locations: Various playrooms, community centers, preschools, and childcare centers across Southern NH. Travel as much or as little as desired - choose locations that work for you!
Key Responsibilities: Lead high-quality enrichment classes aligned with best practices in early childhood education and developmentally appropriate activities (babies, toddlers, and/or preschoolers).
Adapt instruction to meet the developmental needs of young children.
Plan engaging, fun, and developmentally appropriate class content that supports age-appropriate whole-child development (curriculum planning and support also provided).
Prepare and organize materials (provided by company).
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and structured class environment.
Positively engage with parents/caregivers.

Requirements:
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in early childood education, elementary education, or a related field preferred. Strong applicants with much ECE experience and professional development will be considered, and/or applicants with experience teaching or coaching young children in a particular subject area (i.e. sports, music, etc.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children ages 0-6 in an educational setting.
Expertise in the subject area being taught (Music & Movement, Art, STEM, Literacy, Spanish Language, Fitness, Cooking etc.).
Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage young learners and manage a class of 10-15 little ones (some classes are "mommy and me," while some parents/caregivers may not be present depending on the location.) Must possess the personality and qualities necessary for working with young children.
Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and ability to connect and engage with parents and caregivers.
Must be capable of planning and implementing curriculum and take ownership, requiring minimal supervision and oversight.
Comfortable with flexibility—classes may start small and build over time. Reliable transportation to travel to class locations.
This is an independent contractor or employee position (TBD) with a flexible start date. As this is a startup, class schedules will grow over time—ideal for someone looking to supplement income rather than rely on guaranteed hours initially.
