Job Summary
The Branch Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of branch operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in international banking, be bilingual (English/Spanish), and have strong market knowledge to support business expansion and client retention.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance with bank policies, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic conditions to identify opportunities for business growth and proactively mitigate potential risks.
- Respond to complex inquiries and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to optimize branch performance and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports, insights, and performance updates to senior management, public groups, and the Board of Directors.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the branch team, fostering a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment.
- Apply market knowledge to effectively drive branch success and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is required to effectively communicate with a diverse client base and internal teams.
- International banking experience is highly desirable, particularly in bringing in deposits and accounts from international clients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on branch operations and client management.
- Fluency in Spanish (written and oral) is essential for effectively managing a bilingual clientele.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports, market trends, and business data.
- Demonstrated knowledge of international banking practices and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to handle regulatory inquiries and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Market knowledge with a keen understanding of local and global market trends to drive branch growth and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or MBA
- Four (4) years of related experience
- Fluency in the Spanish language is essential. (Written and oral)
- Ability to read, analyze financial statements, and interpret common business trends, familiar with banking and trade finance periodicals and journals; financial reports; as well as legal and loan documents.
- Ability to respond to complex inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or member of the business community.
- Ability to relate well with others and quickly creating a working teamwork environment.

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
