Job Summary:
The Corporate Banking Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit analysis, underwriting, and ongoing reviews for a variety of loan types, including Corporate (syndicated and leveraged loans), Middle Market, Project Finance, and Commercial Real Estate. The role requires strong collaboration with Lending Officers, Credit Officers, and Committee members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. A key objective is to provide exceptional customer service in alignment with the Bank's standards and competencies.
Essential Functions:
- Underwrite and perform credit analysis on Corporate, Middle Market, Project Finance, and Commercial Real Estate loans to assess feasibility and credit risk.
- Prepare Greenlight and Credit Approval Memorandums (CAMs) for presentation to the appropriate approval authority committee. CAMs cover existing loans, new loans, annual reviews, waivers, amendments, and other related documents.
- Review loan information, including financial statements, financial models, presentations, public filings, due diligence reports, appraisals, and other relevant documentation to assess loan risk.
- Ensure prompt and accurate service to customers and lenders, maintaining operational security and adhering to procedures and quality control standards.
- Proactively anticipate potential questions and concerns from the credit committee, and address them with the Relationship Manager to incorporate into credit documents and prepare for discussion at committee meetings.
- Present loan files to the Corporate Banking and Credit Departments for discussion, including the department's recommendations for management or committee approval. Alert teams to any material risks, discrepancies, or issues uncovered during the credit review process.
- Maintain communication with Relationship Managers, Agent Banks, and customers to provide updates on transaction status, address discrepancies, and resolve issues.
- Assist in maintaining loan policies and procedures, quality control measures, and providing support in loan reviews and underwriting.
- Contribute to the preparation of Corporate Banking presentations and assist in monitoring the financial performance of the loan portfolio.
- Support in the completion of waivers, amendments, and quarterly or other financial reporting.
- Prepare materials and files for regulatory exams and audits, both internal and external.
- Participate in Corporate Banking pipeline meetings and collaborate with other departments to identify new business opportunities and enhance market positioning.
- Assist with sourcing new deals and opportunities, and help meet both internal and client deadlines.

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
