Summary: The Teller will provide exceptional customer service by accurately processing financial transactions in a timely manner. This includes handling deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other banking services while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Identify and resolve customer inquiries and concerns
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards while processing transactions
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and financial data
- Handle cash and negotiable instruments accurately
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Support other departments with various administrative tasks as needed
- Stay informed about new products, services, and banking regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Fully bilingual English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in a customer service or banking role preferred
- Strong numerical and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services
