We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager Intern to join our growing team. As a Project Manager Intern at New Energy Equity, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This internship is designed for individuals seeking to develop their skills in project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. You will work closely with our experienced project managers, contributing to the success of various projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Project Planning:
- Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and executed.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and status reports.
Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and project sponsors.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track project progress against established goals, providing regular status updates to the project team.
Problem Solving:
- Contribute to the resolution of project-related issues and challenges.
Quality Assurance:
- Assist in ensuring that project deliverables meet established quality standards.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a 4-year college degree with an expected graduation date between Dec 2025-May 2027.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Details & Duration Of Internship:
- Rate of Pay: $ 20/per hour.
- Internship duration: Approximately June 2025 to August 2025
- This position will report regularly in person to Annapolis, MD office.
- Hours of work: 40 hrs per week, subject to change
