Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities

· Must adhere to and follow all GMPs.

· Report immediately to Bottling Room Lead all conditions that may pose a risk to product food safety and/or quality.

· Responsible for food safety pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.

· Monitor bottle conveyor for fallen bottles and correct as needed.

· Stop conveyer, or entire operation, when any of the following malfunctions occur:

· poor capping, bottles are backed up, inaccurate bottle coding, product changeover, no caps in capper, poor/no label application.

· Ensure caps are fully applied to bottles.

· Ensure correct front and back labels are properly applied to bottles.

· Ensure proper fill height and proper code dates on bottles.

· Perform Pre-Op machine checks and Post-Op machine and area cleaning.

· Change machine setup and product codes per production schedule.

· Perform machine changeovers as necessary.

· Follow daily production schedule.

· Maintain clean workstation.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Mechanical and production machine operating knowledge
- Manufacturing experience
- Previous work in a factory or manufacturing facility
- Skills in packaging, assembly line work, and materials handling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 60 per week
