Performs Housekeeping responsibilities in order to maintain a clean, safe environment throughout the hospital. The focus of this role will be linen and trash collection as well as daily floorcare duties such as dry mopping, machine washing, and buffing. Other Housekeeping duties may be tasked, when needed. This is a fulltime dayshift position of the hours 5:30AM to 2PM. Availability to work every other weekend is required in addition to holidays.Job Description:
Principal Duties & Essential Functions:
1. Cleans Patient Rooms, Break Rooms, Nourishment Pantries, Nursing Station etc on in-patient units
2. Cleans Offices, Lobbies, Elevators, Public Areas & High Touch Areas as needed
3. Stocks soaps, sanitizer, paper goods, and other products as needed. Empties and trash and linen throughout the day.
4. Performs necessary cleaning tasks routinely including high dusting, baseboards, corners, edges, etc
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
EVS experience preferred.
Must be flexible and manage work flow during high volume
Exceptional customer service skills combined with a strong attention to detail.
Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic computer skills needed to complete required on line education
