Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and explore enzymatic activities suitable for isothermal amplification
- Create novel methods and associated technologies for amplification and detection workflows
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand and develop applications for isothermal amplification
- Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related discipline
- 1-3 years postdoctoral experience; either academic or industry
- Experience with protein biochemistry and molecular biology methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort working collaboratively with various cross-functional teams and groups
- Proven track record of technology and method development
- Experience in an industrial biotechnology environment
- Publication of original scientific work in peer-reviewed journals
