What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central & Northern NH Special Education Lead Teacher/Lead BCBA position at New England Center for Children Inc?
We currently have an amazing opportunity for Certified Special Education Teachers or BCBAs to work in a supervisory role providing clinical and educational oversight for a Partner Program classroom (located in New Hampshire) for students with autism and related disabilities based in a public school. The NECC Partner Program is a model that is implemented in partnership with the school district and is grounded in the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities:
- Leadership and supervision for a Partner Program Classroom with up to 7 learners and para-educators.
- Special education lesson planning for learners in the classroom
- Leadership, training, and coaching for the para-educators in the classroom and oversight of implementation of ABA programs, procedures, and lesson plans.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to provide quality inclusion opportunities for the learners
- Collaborate with the BCBA in the development and implementation of behavior protocols
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree preferred
- NH licensed special educator (or out of state license eligible for reciprocity) or BCBA
- Experience and proficiency in the application of the principles of ABA
- Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability with prior supervisory experience preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Driver’s license or access to reliable transportation
