Summer interns provide direct care and ABA instruction to students in a classroom and/or residential setting. They collaborate with a team of professionals to instruct students in general curriculum areas including communication, social skills, activities of daily living (ADLs i.e. personal hygiene), vocational skills, adaptive physical education, and self-preservation.
We are accepting applications for 2025 Summer internships starting on January 6, 2025, and are reviewing applications on a rolling basis until our internship positions are filled.
Qualifications:
- Active enrollment in college or university in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree through the summer of 2025.
- Prior experience working with special needs populations is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Available for internship dates: May 12, 2025- August 16, 2025, OR June 9, 2025-August 16, 2025 (One week of unpaid vacation allotted).
- Available to work 40 hours per week on a schedule that may include day, evening, holiday, and weekend hours.
- Must be able to provide 2 professional/academic references with your application.
