We are looking for a natural caregiver with a desire to care for children and young adults diagnosed with autism and related special needs. Working as a Residential Counselor, you will be closely supervising our students and ensuring their health and safety during the overnight hours. This role is an awake, overnight position in a group home setting, located in or around Southborough, MA.

Schedule Options:
Sunday 7:00pm-8:00am, Monday 9:00pm-7:00am, Tuesday 9:00pm-1:00am & Saturday 7:00pm-8:00am (40 hours per week, OFF Wed-Fri)
OR
Tuesday 1:00am-8:00am, Wednesday 9:00pm-8:00am, Thursday 9:00pm-8:00am & Friday 9:00pm-8:00am (40 hours per week, OFF Sat-Mon)
Responsibilities:
- Complete all assigned direct teaching duties during early evening (7:00pm-8:00pm) weekends and/or early morning (7:00am-8:00am) weekdays.
- Remain awake and alert at all times while on duty; continuously monitor the health, safety, and well-being of each student
- Thorough knowledge and implementation of all student educational programs and behavior management guidelines.
- Diligent implementation of all medical, safety, and emergency procedures
- Record and complete all necessary data accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- You must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED
- Willingness to help students who engage in challenging behaviors
- Must be able to communicate and provide verbal instruction clearly with our students
- Valid Driver’s License with personal vehicle
- CPR training completion through NECC within 6 months of employment
- Successful completion of NECC training - Physical and Verbal De-escalation training (CALM) and Medication Administration training (ability to get MAP Certified)
