We are a growing manufacturing company of chimney venting systems looking for a Full Time Manufacturing Powdercoat / Weathertite person to join our team! We are looking for a positive-minded, hardworking individual to join our fast-paced team. This team member will be responsible for powder coating our manufactured chimney products and manufacturing our line of chimney coatings. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be able to ensure product quality and maintain a clean/safe work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prep and powder coat different configurations of metal chimney caps and other items as needed.
- Operate manufacturing equipment to produce our line of chimney coating products.
- QC products to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
- Following processes and work instructions to maintain quality standards.
- Working with team to ensure timelines are met to ensure we meet our customer’s deadlines.
- Count and maintain inventory and supply levels of items involved in the manufacture of the above items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Powder coat experience preferred.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.
- Ability to be on your feet for most of your shift
- Ability to adjust workflow throughout the day
- Must take pride in your work, and pay attention to the product you are producing
