New England CNC, Inc. is growing and is looking for a dedicated and experienced CNC Machinist.
We are an medium sized CNC shop providing both milling and turning services to a variety of clients in a multitude of industries. We pride ourselves on delivering high precision, on time parts to all of our customers.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced candidate with the ability to work on both lathes and mills producing parts according to print. Candidate should be well versed in machining and able to work proficiently and independent to complete jobs in a timely matter. Candidate needs to be a team player and posses strong problem solving capabilities and good communication with the rest of the team.
Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently work independently on assigned task
- Ability to proficiently and accurately read prints and work orders
- Ability to identify and select correct materials needed for job
- Knowledge of operation of both CNC Lathes and Mills
- Knowledge of CNC bar feeders.
- Ability to program jobs either by hand or with CAM software
- Ability to correctly select appropriate tooling needed for job
- Ability to correctly select appropriate tool holders and install tooling
- Ability to correctly select and install appropriate work holding / fixtures
- Ability to setup both CNC Lathes and mills such as loading tools, programs, and setting offsets
- Ability to proficiently and accurately measure parts during production using various precision gages
- Ability to fill out paperwork regarding to job
Hours and Compensation
Work hours are 6 : 30 to 4 : 30 M-T and 6 : 30 to 12 : 00 on Friday
Position is salary based on the above hours
Salary is based on knowledge and performance of job
