What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Sponsorship Internship position at New England Free Jacks?
Overview: The Free Jacks corporate sponsorships internship is an introductory role for students looking to break into the sports industry, gain valuable experience, and build key future relationships. Interns will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer and / or Head of Partnerships in all areas of our corporate partnerships program, including prospecting, sales outreach, proposal creation, proposal delivery and asset management. Interns are expected to be a part of the program for its entirety, which runs January through May. Interns will work 10-15 hours per week which can include office work, remote projects, outside events, and matchdays. Internships are intended to be completed to fulfill course credit requirements.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will be looking to break into the sports industry and have an interest in exploring if corporate partnership sales is an ideal path for them. They will bring professionalism, attention to detail, and resourcefulness to the role. They will be proactive, driven, and forward thinking.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Assist with prospecting potential sponsorship clients and identifying potential sponsorship opportunities.
● Participate in proposal and sponsorship deck creation
● Contribute to sponsorship tracking and database creation
● Collaborate with other departments including ticketing and marketing to ensure asset fulfillment
● On matchdays focus on sponsor activations and sponsor hospitality management
● Other duties as assigned
