What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gameday Internship position at New England Free Jacks?
Overview: The Free Jacks Gameday internship is an introductory role for students looking to break into the sports industry and gain valuable experience. Interns will work directly with the Free Jacks front office and other gameday staff in all departments to put on our Free Jacks matchdays, gaining an insight into a variety of roles and responsibilities. Interns are expected to be a part of the program for its entirety and attend all home matches, which run March through June (Full 2025 schedule here). Internships are intended to be completed to fulfill course credit requirements.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will be looking to break into the sports industry and have an interest in exploring a variety of gameday roles. They will bring a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and professionalism to the role. They must be hardworking and willing to pitch in in a variety of areas.
Gameday interns will have the opportunity to experience all areas of our Free Jacks Matchday, including:
○ Stadium Setup and Breakdown
○ Stadium Operations
○ Ticket Operations
○ Hospitality Management
○ In-Game Promotions
○ Concessions Operations
○ Sponsorship Activation
○ Merchandise
○ Fan Service
