New England Hyperbaric Oxygen offers an exciting opportunity in healthcare for a multi-faceted role as a lead in our growing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy department. As this company grows, there will be new and exciting opportunities for expansion in your role for the right candidate. Possible Medical Director opportunity for the right candidate to oversee and assist in growing hyperbaric therapy. Also, oversight and treatment for our soft chamber therapy.
This position includes education of patients on the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, working with our doctors and patients to implement treatment plans for most successful patient recovery, scheduling patients for treatment, and assisting patients to and from hard chambers. Our current patient base is approximately between 5-10 patients per day at this time for hard chambers.
We will provide training and certification to the right candidate in our techniques, methods, modalities, and equipment. A background occupational health, wound care, primary care, or urgent care is ideal.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in working with patients suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal, dermatological, post-surgical and neurological conditions such as stroke, concussion, depression, anxiety and more. A desire to learn is absolutely essential as educating patients is a vital component of their success. As a leader in hyperbaric oxygen therapy the majority of your workday will be a combination of hands on with patients, hyperbaric oxygen therapy assisting, assessing treatment plans, and working with the doctor as well as scheduling appointments.
Since you will have direct contact with our patients you must be personable, professional and genuinely interested in providing outstanding patient care. Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, work well as part of a team, be self-motivated, have a good work ethic and be able to multi-task in our fast-paced environment.
