Duties
- Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to promote healthy growth.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and other vegetation.
- Provide tree care services, including pruning and removal as necessary.
- Participate in snow plowing activities during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
- Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, including fertilization and pest control is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping techniques and equipment operation.
