Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (No weekends)

New England Orthopedic Surgeons is a leading private orthopedic practice committed to providing exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our Agawam Office.
Position Summary
As a Physical Therapy Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities will include welcoming patients, verifying insurance and identity, collecting co-pays and deductibles, and maintaining accurate data in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. A strong ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients upon arrival
Direct patients to the appropriate physical therapist
Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments
Verify insurance information and patient identity
Collect co-payments and deductibles
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
Provide accurate information in person, via phone, and by email
Maintain calendars and schedule meetings
Perform clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, and transcribing
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist
Minimum 2 years of experience working with EMR systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience operating standard office equipment (fax, printer, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
Professional appearance and customer service mindset
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
