What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant position at New England Pediatric Care (N.E.P.C.)?

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Laundry (sort clothing/other articles, load washing machines/dryers, fold and return to proper location).
- Sweep, scrub, wax and/or polish floors using brooms, mops & powered machines.
- Clean resident rooms and classrooms, lobbies, hallways, lounges, restrooms and other work areas to meet health standards.
- Trash maintenance
- Dusting/polishing/waxing of walls, windows and furniture
- Utilize universal precautions and demonstrate knowledge of infection control throughout facility
- Act as a representative of the facility, interacting with residents, families, staff and other visitors
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Able to climb, stoop, bend, push, pull as necessary
- Able to lift 50 lbs independently
- Able to work around odors/chemicals
- Serve as an essential employee to the facility

Pay: $21.43 - $23.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
