About the Club: Framingham Country Club is a private, member owned counry club located 20 minutes west of Boston. Founded in 1902, the golf course sternly test's a golfers skill and nerve. It has played host to both major State Amateur and USGA qualifying events including the 2024 Massachusetts State Amateur Championship. The Club boasts a full and active lesson taking membership, an active tournament schedule and an active social calendar.
About the Position: This position begins mid-march 2025 and ends mid-december 2025. The successful candidate will assist both the Head Golf Professional and the Lead Assistant professional in all aspects of the daily golf operation.
About the Head Golf Professional: Graham Cunningham has been the Head Golf Professional since 2009. Graham is the recipient of the following 2013 NEPGA Junior Golf Development Award, 2014 NEPGA Teacher of the Year, 2018 Professional Development Award, and the 2020 NEPGA Merchandiser of the Year - Private.
Experience Required
Prior assistant professional experience is required. Experience at a private club is preferred but not required. Personality must be: outgoing, engaging, service-driven and highly motivated. Above-average interpersonal skills and a clean, professional appearance a must.

Essential Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of the Day to Day operations, including but not limited to:
- Serve as an ambassador to Framingham Country Club by providing exceptional customer service to both Framingham Country Club members and their guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Assisting the Head Golf Professional and Lead Assistant Professional in all aspects and oversight of daily golf operations
- Tournament set-up and execution using Golf Genius Tournament Software
- Assisting in golf shop merchandising including receiving of goods and display creation
- Assist in club fitting and fitting days with vendors
- Teach golf to members through private instruction and group clinics
- Enjoy being active in running junior golf programs
- Possess the desire to further develop the skills necessary to become a head golf professional including administration of the golf operation, tournament operations, merchandising, and golf instruction.
- Off season indoor teaching facility access if desired.
- All successful candidates must be a PGA apprentice or member in good standing and have a desire to maintain and further develop their golf game.
