Button Hole Teaching Center, a 501c3 non profit, is seeking a part-time "Lead Instructor" for the upcoming season!
Here at Button Hole we offer a wide array of youth and adult lessons and playing opportunities such as; Beginner to Advanced golf classes, PGA Jr League, various in-house youth leagues, Women's League, Adult Beginner programs, programs for veterans and more. Each season we teach over 1,000 children, half of which are provided lessons at no cost. Upon the conclusion of classes children receive their BH Kid Card, entitling them to $1 greens fees and $1 basket fees until the age of 18.
The main function of the "Lead Instructor" will be to teach classes in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. The Lead Instructor will be responsible for arriving early to set up and clean up after their assigned class, providing leadership and direction to assistant instructors, answering any parental questions in a professional manner and providing an exceptional experience for all guests of Button Hole.
Hours may vary, but will average between 15-30 hours weekly depending upon the week in the summer months. There is an opportunity to stay on staff from April to October based on preformance and availability of classes.
The "Lead Instructor" will report to Tyler Piekarski, PGA - Head Golf Professional and Arys Batista, Director of Instruction.

Experience Required
- Prior experience teaching golf or ability to play at a high level required
- Prior experience working with large groups of children is a plus
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time and lift ball baskets (approximately 25lbs)
- Provide an exceptional experience for all children, adults and guests of Button Hole during, before and after golf lessons.
- Be able to teach golf lessons in a fast paced environment
- Serve as a "lead instructor" in BH Kids and Adult classes, prioritizing safety in a fun environment
- Provide leadership and give direction to "Assistant Instructors" who are assigned to your class
- Be responsible for set up and clean up of your class
- Playing and practice privledges
- Compensation commensurate with experience ($20-30/ hour)
