Blue Rock Golf Course, with its course-side resort, is a Cape Cod golf course for all abilities: it challenges the veteran golfer to use every club in the bag and is perfect for the new golfer to feel comfortable and learn the game with Blue Rock Academy of Golf and for junior golfers to feel welcome and advance their skills. Blue Rock is looking for a qualified teaching professional to grow the membership through quality golf instruction and an innate sense of community.
Experience Required
The position will require PGA Class A status in good standing, preferably A6 classification with at least 1 year of teaching experience. The professional must have a thirst for improving their knowledge in instruction. Certifications with Trackman, Sportsbox AI 3D, TPI, and Smart2Move are not required but will be a part of our training program.
Essential Responsibilities
The professional’s primary duty will consist of teaching private lessons, junior and ladies group clinics, and on course instruction.
The professional needs to be self motivated as well as have the ability to be a team player.
In addition to instruction, the golf professional must be willing and able to help around the golf shop, club house, and golf course.
The professional will also be asked to aid in tournament operations and membership services.
