Position : Quality Assurance Officer
Department : 200 - Field Operations
SUMMARY / SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT :
The Quality Assurance Officer's primary responsibility is to maintain exceptional employee performance and job site compliance.
The QA reports directly to the Assistant Director of Operations. The QA will be assigned a list of employees and job sites that he or she must visit on every shift.
During the performance inspection, the QA will observe each officer and measure the officer's overall performance. Criteria for the inspection may include the officer's ability to write reports, the thoroughness of tours, and the officer's general appearance and preparedness.
The QA will report all information obtained during the inspection to his director manager. This position requires overnight work and will consist of heavy driving and long distances traveled.
JOB DUTY SUMMARY :
Perform employee and job site inspections on a daily and nightly basis. Complete all required forms in order to complete and file compliance inspection report.
Maintain a log of all activity that had occurred on one's shift. Report all issues and compliance items to a Security Operations Manager and work in concert with the on-duty Dispatcher.
Assist in vehicle maintenance including cleaning, fuel ups, and oil changes. Assist in maintaining on-site tour routes and guard tour systems / devices.
Assist managers in coaching and training security guards at job sites.
POSITION TYPE AND HOURS :
This is a part-time position and is hourly. This position is eligible for overtime pay.
Days and hours or work will vary depending on the operational needs of the company. Overnight hour may be required as a standard shift period.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma.
- At least 2 years experience working in the capacity of a security guard officer or other related field work.
- A clean driving record, with at-fault incidents in the past 7 years.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
- Associates Degree
- Two years of experience in a related field.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Has knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and how to use a computer.
- Must be able to deal with various levels of personality traits and maintain self-control.
- Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people.
- Must prepare written statements, evaluations and correspondence in a logical and grammatically correct manner.
- Must be able to cover various shifts including weekends, nights and holidays; and / or work extended hours if needed.
- Must be self-motivated and willing to work with others.
- Must have a Massachusetts driver’s license.
- Must pass the RMV qualification for standard driving requirements.
- Candidates licensed for less than 7 years or have an at-fault incident in his or her record may be ineligible for this position.
