About the Position:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work closely with the team. This position is responsible for receiving in all incoming shipments, ensuring that all vendors’ products are received in good condition, ensuring that all inventory is accounted for and assisting with the daily operation of the warehouse. Create, handle outgoing packages on a daily basis.
Essential Job Functions:
Receive, inspect, pack and ship orders.
Duties:
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain raw material and finished goods inventory
- Count and pack parts for shipment.
- Select carriers and contact carriers for pick up.
- Supervise and maintain the shipping, receiving and inventory storage areas.
- Maintain finished goods and raw material inventory.
- Issue releases and expedite subcontractor work and be responsible for internal WIP.
- Print shipping documents using Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL and other portals.
- Enter shipping and inventory data into the Global Shop ERP system.
- Obey all safety regulations and comply with ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Maintain inventory in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in their work.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Skills Require
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
