As a Steel Field Installer, you will oversee and execute the installation of steel materials fabricated in our shop according to client specifications.
You will be crucial in maintaining our project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality installations that meet or exceed client expectations.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Accurate Steel Installation: You ensure all steel components are installed according to client specifications and project blueprints. This includes interpreting installation instructions and performing quality checks to confirm alignment, level, and structural integrity.
- Safety Compliance: You are committed to following all safety protocols on-site, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and complying with OSHA guidelines. Before starting any project, conduct safety assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
- Collaboration with Project Teams: You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate schedules and ensure seamless integration of steel components into the construction project.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: You will operate tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., lifts, welding tools).
- On-Site Problem-Solving: This role requires identifying and resolving any issues during installation, such as misalignments or unexpected site conditions. This includes making real-time adjustments to ensure successful project completion.
