POSITION SUMMARY:
Highly responsible corporate position processing and overseeing the company’s Student Financial Aid programs to assure the campuses and company administer these programs in complete compliance with all USDE, state and accreditation rules and regulations.
Further, to ensure that all financial aid activities are conducted in a compliant, legal and effective manner. Other objectives as developed by senior management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular site visits to all NETTTS campuses to monitor compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform comprehensive audits of student, graduate, instructor, staff, equipment maintenance, and facility files to ensure accuracy and policy adherence.
- Review and evaluate campus facilities and operational practices to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed reports of non-compliance findings, including actionable recommendations and timelines for corrective action.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Director to update, revise, or develop institutional policies and procedures based on audit findings and regulatory updates.
- Stay informed of changes in regulatory requirements (e.g., ED, Title IV, ACCSC, state licensing bodies) and assist in integrating changes into policy.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of external audits, program reviews, and accreditation visits.
- Train staff on compliance-related topics, including financial aid processes, documentation standards, and file maintenance.
- Support other compliance-related projects and initiatives assigned by senior management.

EDUCATION/ SKILLS:
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of three years of experience in a career school environment with exposure to student records, compliance, or financial aid
- Demonstrated ability to write reports and handle complex documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with a courteous and professional demeanor
DESIRED:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Prior experience in auditing or compliance roles
- Familiarity with campus operations systems – experience with Student First is highly desirable
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
- There is approximately 50% travel required with this position. Most can be day trips to various campus locations and on occasion some overnight trips if a multiday review occurs at one location. Campus locations are in CT, MA, and RI.
