Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Analyze and evaluate campus operations, including recruitment, funding, training, and student services, to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive intelligent, financially sound growth.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and accrediting standards while maintaining the highest ethical and operational standards.
- Act as the campus’ chief financial officer, overseeing budgets, monitoring income and expenditures, and ensuring financial health.
- Review financial reports and implement strategies for cost optimization and revenue generation.
- Participate in vendor negotiation and resolution.
- Oversee services from enrollment through program completion, fostering a student-centered culture.
- Lead initiatives to improve student retention and program completion rates while addressing concerns and resolving challenges.
- Identify and develop new markets, training programs, and funding opportunities to expand campus offerings.
- Build relationships with employers to create job opportunities for graduates and increase placement success.
- Represent NETTTS through service and participation in trade, educational, governmental, and community committees and boards
- Supervise and develop department heads, ensuring they meet performance goals and contribute to campus success.
- Lead recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations while fostering a collaborative, motivated, and results-driven team culture.
- Foster personal development and growth for staff.
- Stay informed of all regulatory, funding, and industry trends affecting the campus and ensure staff are trained and compliant.
- Represent the campus in interactions with accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies, and community organizations.
- Understand the ACCSC accrediting standards to ensure a compliant operation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in business or educational administration, including fiscal management and oversight.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of business management principles and fiscal controls.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to motivate staff, drive results, and advocate for students and organizational goals.
- Preferred: Familiarity with the transportation industry and training programs.
