What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Operations Manager position at New England Union Company?
Come join our team at New England Union Co, a family-owned manufacturer of brass pipe fittings and fluid handling products that has been in business since 1934.
We currently have the position of Shipping Operations Manager open and waiting to be filled by a qualified shipping/receiving professional.
We’re looking for someone who will:
- Effectively manage and supervise the shipping/receiving processes and employees
- Work with ownership to determine top priorities and best practices for the department
- Train new employees.
- Keep organized records for shipments, receipts, inspections, and inventory adjustments.
- Light Quality Control Duties
- Pack parts, wrap pallets, and ensure outgoing product gets fully processed as efficiently as possible.
- Be a team player that brings fresh ideas to the department.
Starting pay is highly competitive and based on qualifications and experience. Full health benefits are available after 60 days. After 1 year, employees are eligible for a profit-sharing plan.
Hours M-Fri 7:00 am- 3:30 pm.
