The Sales Representative position serves as a contact point between the customer and NESL. Major duties include contacting current customers to maintain existing relationships. This position also requires generating new leads with prospective clients. Responsibilities include preparation of sales quotes and proposals as necessary, communication with customers to ensure quality of materials and services meet the core values of NESL.
The salary range for this position starts at $70,000, based on experience. We also offer an excellent benefits package which includes paid time off, healthcare, dental, vision and 401k with Company matching.
Construction Materials Sales Representative - What Will You Do?

Work daily with the billing edit to verify pricing for invoicing.
- Reference quotes and job descriptions to ensure proper billing.
- Able to resolve billing issues in a timely manner for prompt payment.
- Use the edit as a tool to monitor sales and materials sold.

Prepare daily scheduled visits to see that customer needs are met.
- Plan office visits to target projects being bid and monitor progress on existing jobs.
- Conduct site visits to projects for verification of service and that materials meet customer needs.
- Able to address and resolve customer service inquires, requests, and complaints.

Proactively seek work and prepare price quotes as needed to maintain outstanding service. (15%)
- Communicate verbally or through e-mail on projects being bid to ensure customer receives pricing in a timely manner.
- Prepare a variety of Municipal quotes and verify if insurance and bond information is required at the time of bid.
- Follow up on leads and information gathered from field activity.
- Use various agencies website to look for prospective work to be bid.
Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?
- Required Education: Bachelors/Undergraduate Degree; Field of study preferred: Construction Technology, Marketing, Business or Engineering.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Computer and software skills: competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Establish and maintain working team relationships with all departments.
- Ability to build professional relationships with leaders and external networks.
- Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess strong attention to detail, good organizational skills with the ability to ensure accurate work.
- Persuasive & collaborative.
- Ability to work independently but as part of a team concept.
- Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and compliant with NESL Driving Standards.
