What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fuel Clerk position at New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc.?
Fuel Clerk – What will you do?
- Pull Fuel Czar nightly reports to fix meter errors and process transfers.
- Monitor customer service inquiries for incomplete hired hauler and internal transactions.
- Monitor JWS staging table for incomplete transactions.
- Process fuel invoices into the Cardex inventory.
- Backup WEX and Fuel Czar fuel card administrator.
- Manually key fuel sheets/monitor PowerTrack app fuel entries and upload into JDE for processing.
- Obtain month-end inventory counts, prepare reports and journal entries.
- Assist with filing various tax returns monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and yearly.
- Compile information requested for audits and/or by management.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements - Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 6-12 months of Accounts Payable or general bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Able to collaborate and communicate across the business.
- Capable of building professional relationships with leaders and external networks.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Laser focus attention to detail with the discipline to ensure accurate and quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.
