In-House Bookkeeper / Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate accounting practices and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
• Manage general ledger accounting, including posting debits and credits.
• Utilize software for accounting tasks and maintain up-to-date records.
• Assist in technical accounting projects as needed, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Support the finance team in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.

Skills

• Proficiency in corporate accounting principles and practices.
• Strong skills in bank reconciliation and account reconciliation processes.
• Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
• Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Ability to accurately manage debits and credits within financial systems.
• Experience using accounting software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $69,218.00 - $80,000.00 per year
