We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with the ability to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. This role requires hands-on work, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure the health and beauty of lawns and gardens.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure a neat appearance.
- Dig, plant, and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper care for flowers, shrubs, and other plants.
- Operate hand tools and machinery effectively for landscaping tasks, including lawn care equipment and snow plowing tools during winter months.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to pests or diseases and implement appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscape maintenance equipment safely.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques, including planting, pruning, and fertilization methods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent physical stamina with the capability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transporting equipment between job sites.
