Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, assisting them in finding the right gondola shelving and pallet rack, and ensuring a positive experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and your knowledge of sales will contribute to the overall success of our store.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Help customers with gondola/pallet rack purchases.
- Provide accurate information regarding product features and benefits.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in gondola/pallet rack sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with Quick Books is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
