We are currently seeking an Overnight Camera Car Spotter to join our repo company and assist in locating and recovering vehicles during nighttime operations.
Position: Overnight Camera Car Agent
Job Description:
As an Overnight Camera Car Spotter, you will play a crucial role in our repossession operations during nighttime hours. You will work closely with our recovery agents, utilizing advanced camera technology and your exceptional surveillance skills to locate and track vehicles for repossession. You will be in charge of making your own schedule between the hours of 4pm-10am daily, as long as you meet or exceed the minimum 40 hours per week. Some day shifts may be available as well.(10am-10pm). You will also be provided with a company vehicle provided you have SAFE off-street parking to store the vehicle when you are not working.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
-Surveillance and Observation: Canvass designated areas and neighborhoods during overnight shifts to scan and identify
vehicles accurately.
-Camera Operation: Operate specialized camera equipment mounted on a company vehicle to capture high-quality images and videos of targeted vehicles, even in low-light conditions.
-Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with recovery agents, providing real-time updates on vehicle locations and any relevant observations or challenges encountered during the operation.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
-Nighttime Vigilance: Ability to stay alert and focused during overnight hours and effectively spot and locate target vehicles in low-light conditions.
-Observational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify vehicles based on visual cues, even during nighttime surveillance.
-Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in operating camera equipment and technology, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues that may arise.
-Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to relay information effectively to recovery agents, ensuring clear and accurate updates throughout the operation.
-Reliability: Punctuality, dependability, and the flexibility to work the overnight shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:
Prior experience in a surveillance or spotting role, preferably during overnight shifts.
Prior transportation experience, or a related field.
