Primary Duties:
The consulting resident’s job duties will include the following:
- Inventory and organize the backlog of devices requiring preservation for legal holds
- Pickup of incoming devices, requiring preservation, from the Law Department
- Maintaining chain of custody of legal hold devices with evidence tags and updating associated asset tracking systems
- Forensic imaging of devices requiring preservation for legal holds
- Generating collection reports of collected evidence
- Management of the physical evidence locker and the legal hold evidence digital repository
- Assisting in the support of MassMutual’s Compliance Archive
Required Skills:
- 1 – 3 years overall experience in Information Technology
- Attention to detail is mandatory along with desire to learn and be trained on eDiscovery processes
- Organization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter, ability to work independently and take initiative on problem solving and troubleshooting
- Advisory skills on improvement opportunities for operational efficiencies
- Good collaboration skills with both technical peers and business partners
- Good documentation skills to create operational process diagrams, etc.
- Comfortable with dynamic environment and changing requirements
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
- Will likely require additional Compliance background check including fingerprinting once onboarded.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and work experience.
- No Travel
