Summary/Objective
Our servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests with a customer first mentality. Take orders, make suggestions, and serve food and drinks in a professional manner. Deliver an exceptional experience so all of our guests want to return.
Essential Functions

• Takes food and beverage orders from guests.
• Makes suggestions and upsells on all menu and drink items.
• Demonstrates expertise with our food and beverage menu items.
• Enter orders into Jonas POS system.
• Interacts with guests and makes them feel welcome at all times.
• Executes all ALE policies and effectively serve only guests that are 21 years of age or older alcoholic beverages. Refuse service to all guests that are under 21 years old.
• Carries trays, delivers food, cleans and reset tables.
• Monitors behavior of guests consuming alcohol and notifies management when service needs to be stopped.
• Treats all guests with respect.
• Accepts payment for checks in the form of cash or charge and provide the correct change.
• Serves multiple tables at one time and provides GREAT service to all of them.
• Completes pre-set up work, stocks during shift and final closing work.
• Keeps area clean during business hours and follows all NC Health Department standards and policies.
• Performs other tasks as requested by management or other supervisors.
• Reports to work in a clean and neat uniform.

Physical Demands
• Ability to carry trays of dishes that weight up to 35 pounds at shoulder level.
• Ability to change kegs that weigh up to 160 pounds.
• Standing for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures.
• Ability to bend and lift items over your head.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Hours are varied. Team Members can be scheduled 10 to 45 hours per week, depending upon availability and needs of the restaurant. Team Members can be scheduled between the hours of 9:00 am to 1:00am, 7 days a week.
Preferred Education and Experience
Prior experience is preferred but not necessary. Will train for the position. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
